Official Notice Regarding Registration Process, Official Verification, Fraud Prevention, Unauthorized Representation & Legal Compliance

⚠️ IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICE

All India Film and TV Entertainment Artists Welfare Association (AIFAWA) is committed to maintaining transparency, accountability, legal compliance, and protecting the interests of artists, members, applicants, supporters, donors, and the general public.

AIFAWA maintains an active Legal & Compliance Department to oversee its legal, regulatory, governance, compliance, and intellectual property matters. Any official legal, administrative, compliance, verification, or organizational communication concerning AIFAWA shall be considered valid only when issued or expressly authorized through AIFAWA's officially published communication channels.


Official Registration Process

All Artist Card applications, memberships, registrations, renewals, payments, verifications, certifications, and related services are processed only through AIFAWA's officially published communication channels.

Applicants are strongly advised to independently verify every communication, payment request, registration instruction, document request, website, email, phone call, social media account, or digital communication before making any payment or submitting personal information.


No Agency Relationship

Unless expressly authorized in writing by AIFAWA, no individual, consultant, advocate, legal advisor, agent, broker, franchisee, representative, partner, organization, institution, company, website, social media account, or third party is authorized to represent AIFAWA in any capacity.

No unauthorized person shall be deemed an employee, representative, intermediary, legal advisor, franchisee, or official partner of AIFAWA.


No Guarantee of Approval

Submission of an application, payment of any applicable fee, completion of registration, or submission of supporting documents does not automatically guarantee membership, Artist Card issuance, approval, verification status, eligibility, certification, or access to any service offered by AIFAWA.

Every application remains subject to document verification, eligibility assessment, internal review, organizational policies, and applicable legal requirements.


Official Verification

Only the communication channels officially published by AIFAWA shall be treated as authentic and authoritative.

Applicants must independently verify any communication, payment request, registration instruction, legal advice, or representation claiming to be associated with AIFAWA before taking any action.

AIFAWA shall not be responsible for communications, promises, commitments, or transactions originating from unauthorized persons or third parties.


Unauthorized Representation

Without prior written authorization from AIFAWA, no person or organization is permitted to:

• Collect money or payments in the name of AIFAWA.

• Offer guaranteed approvals, priority processing, or special influence.

• Issue Artist Cards, Membership Certificates, Identity Cards, recommendation letters, or any official documents.

• Represent themselves as an official representative, advisor, legal consultant, franchisee, partner, or intermediary of AIFAWA.

• Make commitments, promises, assurances, agreements, or legal representations on behalf of AIFAWA.

• Conduct registrations, memberships, fundraising, promotional campaigns, awareness drives, or commercial activities using the name, logo, trademark, identity, website, reputation, or intellectual property of AIFAWA.

Any such activity shall be treated as unauthorized and conducted solely in the individual's personal capacity.


Intellectual Property Protection

The name AIFAWA, its logo, trademarks, website, documents, certificates, registration process, branding materials, publications, digital assets, databases, designs, graphics, and all related intellectual property are protected.

Unauthorized copying, reproduction, publication, distribution, modification, commercial exploitation, or misuse may invite appropriate legal action under applicable laws.


Digital Impersonation & Online Fraud

AIFAWA strictly opposes fake websites, fake domains, fake email addresses, fake WhatsApp accounts, fake Telegram channels, fake mobile applications, fake social media pages, phishing activities, cyber fraud, misleading advertisements, and any digital platform falsely claiming association with AIFAWA.


Limitation of Liability

AIFAWA shall not be responsible or liable for any payment, financial loss, promise, assurance, representation, agreement, communication, transaction, or commitment made with any unauthorized individual or third party falsely claiming association with AIFAWA.

Applicants and members remain solely responsible for verifying authenticity before making payments or sharing confidential information.


Right to Refuse, Suspend or Cancel

AIFAWA reserves the right to accept, reject, suspend, revoke, cancel, or terminate any application, membership, Artist Card, verification, certification, or related service wherever deemed appropriate in accordance with its internal policies and applicable laws.


Fraud Prevention Advisory

For your safety:

• Register only through AIFAWA's official website.

• Make payments only through officially published payment methods.

• Verify every payment request before making any transaction.

• Never rely upon verbal promises, unofficial assurances, or unauthorized representations.

• Never share OTPs, passwords, banking credentials, or confidential personal information with unauthorized persons.

• Immediately report any suspicious communication or fraudulent activity.


Reporting Unauthorized Activities

If any person or organization:

• Collects money in the name of AIFAWA;

• Claims unauthorized authority;

• Issues fake Artist Cards or Membership Certificates;

• Operates fake websites, fake social media pages, or fake communication channels;

• Misuses AIFAWA's identity, logo, trademark, or reputation;

• Publishes false, misleading, defamatory, or malicious information;

please immediately report the matter through AIFAWA's official communication channels together with screenshots, payment receipts, emails, call records, chat history, documents, or any other supporting evidence.


Reservation of Rights

AIFAWA expressly reserves all legal, contractual, intellectual property, administrative, and equitable rights available under applicable laws.

Nothing contained in this Advisory shall be interpreted as limiting any legal remedy available to AIFAWA.


Legal Action

Where appropriate under applicable laws, AIFAWA reserves the right to initiate civil, criminal, administrative, regulatory, or other legal proceedings against any individual or organization involved in:

• Fraudulent representation.

• Unauthorized collection of money.

• Identity theft.

• Brand or trademark misuse.

• Forgery of certificates or official documents.

• Digital impersonation.

• Cyber fraud, phishing, or online scams.

• Defamation or publication of false or misleading information.

• Any activity causing financial, operational, legal, or reputational harm to AIFAWA, its members, applicants, supporters, or stakeholders.


Right to Amend

AIFAWA reserves the right to modify, revise, replace, update, or withdraw this Public Advisory at any time without prior notice.

The latest version published on the official website shall prevail.


Governing Law

This Public Advisory shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India.


Evidence Preservation

Any person reporting fraud, impersonation, unauthorized representation, or misuse is encouraged to preserve screenshots, payment records, emails, call logs, invoices, receipts, chat history, and all other available evidence for appropriate review and action.
