Report Fraud, Misuse, Impersonation & Unauthorized Activities

At All India Film and TV Entertainment Artists Welfare Association (AIFAWA), we are committed to protecting artists, members, applicants, and the public from fraud, impersonation, and unauthorized activities.

If you believe that any individual, organization, website, social media account, or third party is misusing the name of AIFAWA or falsely claiming to represent AIFAWA, please report the matter immediately.

What Should Be Reported?

You may submit a report if you have experienced or become aware of:

  • Unauthorized collection of money in the name of AIFAWA.

  • Fake Artist Card or Membership offers.

  • False claims of guaranteed approvals.

  • Individuals falsely claiming to be AIFAWA representatives.

  • Fake websites, domains, or mobile applications.

  • Fake social media pages or profiles.

  • Misuse of the AIFAWA name, logo, identity, or branding.

  • Forged documents, certificates, or membership cards.

  • Fraudulent payment requests or bank account details.

  • Any other suspicious activity related to AIFAWA.

Information to Include in Your Report

To help us investigate the matter, please provide:

  • Your Full Name

  • Mobile Number

  • Email Address

  • Subject of the Complaint

  • Detailed Description of the Incident

  • Date and Time of the Incident (if known)

  • Name and Contact Details of the Person Involved (if available)

  • Payment Details (if applicable)

  • Supporting Documents (Screenshots, Emails, Messages, Receipts, Photos, Videos, etc.)

Important Notice

Submitting a fraud report does not automatically establish the facts or guarantee legal action.

Each report is reviewed based on the information and evidence provided. AIFAWA may request additional details where necessary before taking any appropriate administrative or legal action.

Knowingly submitting false, fabricated, misleading, or malicious complaints may itself result in appropriate action under applicable law.

Emergency Advice

If you have already transferred money to an unauthorized person or believe you have been the victim of a financial fraud, you should immediately:

  • Contact your bank or payment service provider.

  • Report the incident to your local police or the appropriate cybercrime authorities, where applicable.

  • Inform AIFAWA by email with all available supporting documents.
