Artist Membership Card – Official Recognition
The AIFAWA Artist Membership Card serves as:

Government Scheme Identification & Support
The AIFAWA Artist Membership Card may serve as a supporting professional identity document for artists applying under various government schemes, welfare programs, grants, or initiatives specifically designed for artists and creative professionals.
AIFAWA may also assist members by sharing relevant information, updates, and guidance related to applicable government schemes for artists, helping members understand eligibility requirements, documentation needs, and application processes, wherever possible.
Wherever a verified artist identification or professional association reference is required, AIFAWA may provide guidance or confirmation, subject to applicable rules and internal verification.

AIFAWA may share information, notifications, and guidance related to such schemes, including eligibility criteria, required documentation, and official application channels, wherever possible.

- Approval of any government scheme is solely at the discretion of the concerned government authority
- The Artist Membership Card does not guarantee eligibility, approval, allotment, subsidy, or disbursement of any benefit
- AIFAWA acts only as a facilitating, informational, and identifying body, and not as an approving or sanctioning authority
Professional Dispute Support
AIFAWA may take up professional disputes between members and producers related to film or television projects, subject to the following conditions:
- Only disputes arising after the issuance of a valid work permit will be considered
- Disputes prior to the work permit date will not be considered
- Complaints older than three (3) years will not be entertained
- The AIFAWA Executive Committee holds final authority on whether a matter will be taken up
Workshops & Skill Development
Members may attend workshops, training sessions, and awareness programmes organized by AIFAWA at nominal or subsidized fees, helping artists stay informed, skilled, and industry-ready.
Compensation & Welfare Benefits
(Applicable Only to Members with Minimum 5 Years of Continuous Membership)
AIFAWA provides welfare-based assistance strictly to eligible members. All benefits are subject to verification, eligibility, and Executive Committee approval.
Accidental Death During Filming
- Nominee may receive compensation of up to ₹1,00,000
- Minimum 5 years of continuous membership required
Natural Death
- Nominee may receive compensation of up to ₹50,000
- Applicable after 5 years of continuous membership
Set Accidents, Disability, or Loss of Body Parts
Applicable in cases of:
- Partial disability
- Permanent disability
- Loss of any body part
Compensation:
- Up to ₹50,000, subject to eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of continuous membership required
Emergency Medical Assistance
- Assistance of up to ₹25,000
- Available only to Regular Members with 5 years of continuous membership
- Subject to verification and committee approval
Medical / Financial Relief for Senior & Needy Members
Medical and/or financial relief may be granted if:
- Member has completed 5 continuous years of membership
- Member is 65 years of age or above
- Assistance is approved solely at the discretion of the Executive Committee
Important Welfare Conditions & Limitations
- Compensation amounts may be revised based on the Association’s financial position
- All assistance is provided strictly as welfare support, not as a contractual or statutory entitlement
- Benefits cannot be used to settle employer liability, insurance claims, or court-mandated compensation
- All payments are subject to eligibility, verification, and compliance with the AIFAWA Constitution
- Third-party insurance coverage, where applicable, is governed strictly by insurer terms

Work Permit Fee Structure (Artist Membership Card)
Note: All fees and charges mentioned below are payable in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Validity: 1 year from the date of issue
- Late Fee: Nil
- Validity: 1 year from renewed issue date
- Late Fee: 600 per month after 30 days (maximum 12 months)
- Validity: 1 year from renewed issue date
- Late Fee: 700 per month (maximum 12 months)
- Validity: 1 year from renewed issue date
- Late Fee: 500 per month after 12 months (maximum 60 months)
Important Terms, Conditions & Disciplinary Policy
- Eligibility: Benefits are applicable only after completion of five (5) years of continuous membership, subject to verification and approval by the AIFAWA Executive Committee.
- The Association reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Work Permit (Artist Membership Card) without prior notice for violation of rules, code of conduct, or applicable laws.
- Any unethical practice, criminal activity, fraud, misrepresentation, or conduct damaging the reputation of the Association or the entertainment industry may result in immediate termination and permanent blacklisting.
- The Artist Membership Card may be terminated at any time if serious unethical or criminal conduct is established.
- No refund, adjustment, or compensation shall be payable after suspension, termination, or blacklisting.
- Submission of false, misleading, incorrect, or forged information or documents will result in immediate termination.
- All approvals, renewals, eligibility decisions, and fee applicability are subject to the final decision of the AIFAWA Executive Committee.
- Fees, rules, and terms may be revised from time to time as per Association policies.
- The Work Permit (Artist Membership Card) is non-transferable and valid only for the registered member.
- Paid fees shall not be adjusted, transferred, or carried forward under any circumstances.
- Holding a valid Work Permit is mandatory to avail Association-related professional or welfare benefits.
- The Association does not guarantee employment, casting, or work opportunities.
- Members are solely responsible for their professional conduct and engagements.
- All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
- The Association’s interpretation of these terms shall be final and binding.
